I never thought I\u2019d end up in real estate. A few years ago, if someone had told me, I probably would\u2019ve laughed out loud, thinking: \u201cMe, selling houses? Not a chance.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I always pictured this job as something serious, rigid, full of rehearsed lines and fake smiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But, as often happens in life, I was wrong. And also, as often happens in my life, Carla had something to do with it. Thanks to her, I discovered that being a real estate agent doesn\u2019t mean putting on an act. On the contrary: it means being yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Truly listening. Supporting real people. Being there for one of the most important moments of their lives. And yes, it also means sharing the occasional laugh along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The day I started talking to my first clients without putting on any act \u2014 just as I am: straightforward, honest, calm, and with a sense of humour \u2014 I realised that not only could I fit into this world, I could actually enjoy it.
